To apply for residence at NAS Whiting Field, Milton FL, prospective residents must first complete a DoD application and process through the Navy Housing portion of the Community Management Office located in Whiting Pines.

Required documentation:

• A completed DD form 1746
• A copy of your Page 2
• A copy of your Orders

Once Navy Housing has referred you, Balfour Beatty Communities can both show and assign you a home based on the date requested (or as close as possible).

Once assigned to a home, Balfour Beatty Communities will provide you with necessary information to set up an appointment for signing the lease and moving in. The BBC staff can also provide assistance as questions arise during your move-in process. 

The documentation that Balfour Beatty Communities will require:

• Copy of your Military ID card
• An updated LES
• Power of Attorney (if necessary)

The following information is provided for your convenience:

• Renter Insurance: Renter insurance is provided for all Active Duty Personel. 
  
• Utilities (homes fully electric, water, sewage and trash pickup) are all included in your in your lease.
  
• Move in Day: Please allow 45-60 minutes to review and sign all the necessary paperwork.
  
• Please remember that we will prorate the rent depending on the day you move in within the month and that all monies for that month are due at move in and must be paid by Cashier’s Check, Money Order  or Credit Card. The allotment will be initiated on the 1st of the following month (allotments are paid in arrears).
  
• Lease Agreement: Lease is for 7 months. Please do not hesitate to ask the Resident Specialist, assisting with your orientation about anything you do not fully understand.
